Kate Moss has been my absolute icon for as long as I can remember. I love just about everything about her, and the fact that she was never the 'perfect' supermodel, makes her even more desirable!
Moss was born in 1974 in the un glamorous city of Croydon, UK, and was discovered 14 years later at JFK Airport by the founder of Storm Model Management, Sarah Doukas.
Moss's career began thanks to photographer Corrine Day, who shot black and white photographs of her for The Face magazine when she was just 16.
Her career sky rocketed after this shoot and everyone wanted a piece of Kate. She became part of the supermodel elite, but in contrast to the curvaceous figures of Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.
Kate Moss will go down in history as being one of the worlds biggest models and her career is still going strong 24 years on.
I am lucky enough to have one of the original copies of her book - Kate. It's a beautiful picture book of some of the most famous photos ever taken of Moss. A true collectible.

LFW: Burberry Show 2013
The Burberry Fashion Show at London Fashion Week, was by far my most favourite. The front row was littered with Brits with Andy Murray and Harry Styles trying stealing the limelight.
Burberry's Chief Creative Director (aka, designer!) described the collection as "a little bit sassier, a little bit sexier, and a little bit more joyful". The collection was Inspired by a 100 year old image of Burberry capes and corsets from its archive.
Underneath the iconic Burberry Mac were metallic corsets and ruched Bridget Jones style knickers. No Burberry show was complete without the famous trench coat and as every season, it was re vamped and remixed with rich deep colours, with a variation of materials.
Here I've hand picked some of my favourite outfits from the show! Including my boy band crush, Mr Harry Styles!

Bond Street Victoria's Secret
Finally! Victoria's Secret is in the Uk! The first Uk store was launched at Westfield's in Stratford, but the flagship store on Bond Street, London is what we've been waiting for!
Victoria's Secret was launched in 1977 and is famous for its iconic Angels and their flamboyant fashion shows.
I'm yet to visit the Bond Street store, but wanted to share with you the amazing photos to tempt you! I'll blog when I've visited dolls!

My love for Leggings!
I love leggings! They're a great alternative to jeans and the perfect item to wear in this random weather England seems to be having at the moment. With the amount of different styles and colours the shops have to offer at the minute, I'm spoiled for choice! Leather panelled ones from Zara, to tribal print legging in H&M, there is definitely a pair out their for just about everyone.
It's also how you wear them that is equally as important, if the materials too thin, they look like tights, if you tuck something into them, it looks like you're wearing a nappy!
I got some great ones from H&M last week in plum (look below) they also came in coral, green, blue and black, with faux pockets. They are so comfy, but still quite smart. I wore them with a loose white tee with studded shoulders from Ark in Sheffield, a casual slouchy blazer from River Island and my River Island suede wedges.
Check out what the high street has to offer:
Black Tasseled - ASOS
Orange Ombré - Topshop
Black Studded - River Island
Leopard Print - Mango

Kate Moss Collection for Mango
Ive never been too keen on Mango, to me they were always in the shadow of Zara, always one step behind. That was until they brought in Kate Moss to front their campaign, and this season, in my opinion is pretty amazing! Moss effortlessly turns this relatively plain collection into something cool and interesting with her sexy, enduring demenure. With the Karkhi and black body con dress which is great for office wear or a meal, (my mum purchased this one), 60's style calf skin leather jacket twinned with black hot pants will make a definite impact. My favourite pieces are the fitted blazers with gilt gold buttons in royal blue to bright red, bargain at £29.99, wear this with the skinny coloured jeans.
